Peaceful Warrior Martial Arts & Healing Center teaches traditional Shorin-Ryu Karate from Okinawa, Japan, the birthplace of Karate. We are a proud member of the Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan organization, and offer authentic rank in this system.
Our martial arts style is one of the oldest fighting arts in the world today. Although we maintain its tradition, we also ensure the techniques our students learn constantly evolve so that they can be effective against modern threats. Students learn self-defense from standing up and the ground in order to protect themselves in any situation.
Our curriculum is based on the five elements of karate; striking, grappling, choking, throwing and locking, and we utilize all five in our teaching methods. We also incorporate classical Jujitsu, Aikido, Judo and softer Chinese systems into our practice, and in turn, offer one of the most diverse training systems around.
